Making an order

Shopping at Ark is easy. Just browse the store using our product and brand links.

"What's new" and "Special offer" helps you find the newest fashions we have in store and keeps you up to date with the latest offers.

If there is a particular product you are looking for, try using the search box and it will take you straight to your product.

When you have found something you like, just select the colour and size required and it will be added to your basket. Products can be added or changed at any time so you can continue shopping at your leisure.

If you would like to place your order by phone, please call our Helpdesk on 0113 387 7360 (open 9am-5:30pm Mon-Fri, 9am-3pm Sat, 10am-4pm Sun) and we will be pleased to take your order in person.

Payment options

We will ask you to register with us informing us of the address your credit or debit card is registered to and where you want your order delivered, if different. This will then allow you to choose a password creating a personal account which you can view every time you shop with us. Payment will only be taken when your order is shipped, we will then email you to confirm the order.

We also accept PayPal - the safer, easier way to pay..

A highly secure service is provided where your details are not held on our database.

Please note that you have seven days from the date the order is placed to request a cancellation.

Delivery

UK AND NORTHERN IRELAND ORDERS:

Delivery is FREE for all UK orders!

Arkclothing.com offer a quick and efficient delivery service which we pride ourselves on.

We will not charge your payment method until your order has been dispatched.

Once your order has been processed delivery is within 1-3 working days (excluding weekends and bank holidays).

Your order will be sent by either Royal Mail's Tracked Service or Citylink Next Day Courier services depending on size and weight.

You will receive an email when your order has despatched which will tell you how your order has been dispatched.

We will email you your tracking code so you an keep track of the status of your order with the delivery company.

Before completing your preferred delivery address, please make sure that someone will be there to sign for the package. You may prefer to have it delivered to your work address.

If you are not at home when your delivery arrives, a card will be left giving you details of how to collect or how to rearrange delivery of the package.

We offer a choice of an additional delivery address, ideal for Christmas and Birthdays. This will be an option at the checkout where we also offer a gift wrapping service. Please ensure that you select the chosen delivery address prior to entering your card details.


EUROPEAN ORDERS:

Delivery is £9.99 GBP for all European orders.

We will email you your tracking code when your order has been dispatched.

Please be aware that the customs authorities in your country may charge you Import Duty and/or other additional related charges including VAT. As the buyer and the importer, you are responsible for paying any such costs. These costs are outside our control, and vary from country to country. Please contact your customs office if you require further information.

International orders can only be dispatched to the cardholder's address .

REST OF THE WORLD

Delivery is £17.50 GBP for all International orders, excluding Europe.

BFPO

We ship to BFPO addresses using Royal Mail.

All BFPO addresses must be registered as UK, rather than the country where you are posted. Royal Mail will then deliver the parcel to the British Forces Post Office in London. It then becomes the responsibility of the British Forces to deliver your parcel to the correct location.




Free delivery to store

You can now choose to have your order delivered to any of our stores for FREE. Delivery will be made to your chosen store within 2 working days. For example, an order placed on Wednesday will be in store for Friday. A staff member from the store will email you when your order is available to collect.

Your order will be held at your chosen store for 14 calendar days, after which we will return your order and refund your order via your chosen payment method. You will need to take a print out of your order confirmation email as proof of purchase and proof of ID (driving licence, passport, ID card, utility bill or payment card etc).

PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU MUST COLLECT YOUR ORDER IN PERSON AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO TAKE IT AWAY WITHOUT BOTH THE CONFIRMATION EMAIL AND PROOF OF ID.

Returns policy

Internet Only Returns Policy:

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase just send it back to us (using a tracked delivery service) in its original condition within 14 days. You will need to create a Return Authorisation - to do this, go to the Your Account page and select "Thinking of Returning?" for the order you wish to return. The garment must be returned will all original tags and packaging. Upon receipt and examination we will issue a full refund. Cost of return postage is the customer's responsibility and we recommend using an insured delivery service such as Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded service.

If you have received an item as a gift and wish to return it, please contact our help desk on 0113 387 7360 (open 9am-5:30pm Mon-Fri, 9am-3pm Sat, 10am-4pm Sun) and we will advise you how to proceed.

We will endeavour to reply to your email enquiry or telephone call within 1 hour (Monday-Friday 9am to 5pm, Sunday 10am - 4pm).

The length of time refunds take may vary depending on the card issuer. Please allow 10 working days for the refund to appear on your credit card or bank statement.

PayPal refunds will appear back in your PayPal account within 7 days.

If you require an exchange, for example a different size or colour, return the product and we will send out a replacement.

Alternatively, if you require an exchange for a different product you will need to make a new purchase on line, returning the original purchase back to us which will then be refunded.

Delivery charges are non refundable unless the garment is faulty.

Faulty Returns

If the product you receive is faulty or not what you purchased, then please create a Return Authorisation using the Your Account page, and return the item(s) to us.

We will need to know the reason for the return and whether you require an exchange or refund. Refunds will be processed upon receipt and examination of the product. The length of time refunds take may vary depending on the card issuer. Please allow 10 working days for the refund to show on your credit card or bank statement.

Delivery costs will also be refunded if the product is faulty, this will be refunded against Royal Mail's tariffs for First Class recorded delivery.

When you have created your Return Authorisation, you will have the option to print out an address label for your return package.

You may also drop your labelled package off at one of our stores once you have created a Return Authorisation.

Please be careful when trying products on. Ensuring that you are not wearing makeup, perfume, or deodorant which may leave marks on the product. We will only accept products returned to us in their original condition.

Stock availability

The products on our website are regularly checked for availability. 99% of items are in stock.

If for any reason stock is not available to process your order, we will email to inform you. Your card will be refunded immediately for unavailable stock.

Colour

We try to represent our products as accurately as possible through our photography. However, colours may vary depending on customer's monitor settings and resolution which we have no control. Therefore we are unable to guarantee exact likeness of colour as it appears on our website.

We also have several products in a distressed and vintage style. These products are unique, varying in colour and features. If you have any queries related to this don't hesitate to contact our help desk.

Sizes

Sizes can vary between manufacturers which can cause some discrepancies with your known size. Some garments come in several different fits which will change the size you require, depending on desired fit. Please refer to our size chart and if you require further information regarding this do not hesitate to contact us.

Prices

Not all the products we offer in our city centre stores are available on-line and vice versa.
